Marco Simoncelli Crash and Death

            It’s a gloomy day for the MotoGP world as one of the most talented riders, Marco Simoncelli, died within a crash that involves several motor crash and cause injuries to other riders.
           Marco Simoncelli crash was quite dramatic and horrific since the accident involved the hitting and crashing of several motorcycles to the body of this young rider. In several camera and video footage, it was visible that the young rider experienced slip which cause himself to be dragged away by the motorcycle. Unlucky for him, while he was dragged away by the motorcycle, he was hit by other riders, including Valentino Rossi and also Colin Edward. What makes this accident very fatal was that the helmet of Simoncelli got knocked off during the crash that lead to fatal head injury, according to the medical officials.
          The Marco Simoncelli crash in Sepang happened after two laps and the official immediately stopped the race after the condition of this 24 years old rider has been confirmed. After the crash, Simoncelli didn’t move at all and the medical workers confirmed that the death was because of head injuries. For the race, the officials finally decided to cancel the whole event, causing the fans to get upset and throwing bottles.

     “I am very sad to be here to tell you about the death of Marco Simoncelli due to severe accidents caused by other drivers, there is trauma to the head, neck and chest,” said Macchiagodena a news conference at the Sepang Circuit on Sunday (10/23/2011).
